Logodent Gel Toothpaste

I recently received a sample of Logodent natural gel toothpaste to try out at home. At my daughter's first dental checkup her dentist recommended she switch to a toothpaste that contained fluoride. I wasn't too keen on the idea since she still swallows some of the toothpaste, like most toddlers do, and too much fluoride can lead to dental fluorosis. I decided to go against his recommendations and stick with the baby toothpaste. I knew that I couldn't use baby toothpaste forever so I was really excited to have my daughter try out this toothpaste since it's all natural and contains zero fluoride.

Some more information on the toothpaste from the company website...
"Mild spearmint oil and natural strawberry fragrance are the primary flavorings of the gels. Plant colorants make the dental gels visually appealing and fun. Extracts of echinacea and green tea effectively retard the development of bacteria. Witch hazel, chamomile, and myrrh care for sensitive gum tissues and help prevent infection. A small amount of fine silica works with the brush to remove plaque gently. Knowing that children often don’t use proper brushing technique, and that they often swallow toothpaste, we use only the gentlest sudsing agents to help disperse the herbal ingredients into hard-to-reach areas. Naturally, LOGODENT Dental Gels for Kids contain no synthetic fluoride and no synthetic preservatives, colorants or fragrances."

Well the reviews are in ... my daughter loves her new toothpaste and so do I! Her favorite flavor was the spearmint with strawberry being a close second. She picks her natural Logodent toothpaste over her artificial Disney Princess toothpaste every time. As you can see her teeth are squeaky clean and we're both happy with it.
