The Easy Fit Tee

One of my goals for this year was to begin sewing more clothes for myself. It has been a struggle trying to find clothes that are comfortable and stylish though. I came across this pattern on Pinterest and knew I had to try it. Originally I was going to try the Peter Pan collar version but I ended up making the color block one instead. The Easy Fit Tee pattern by It's Always Autumn can be found here.

The construction was really simple and it took me only 20 minutes to sew. I added a thicker band for the collar instead of what she used in the tutorial. I wish I had made the shirt a little longer though, it's a little too short for my taste. I love how comfortable and versatile it is.

Since it's still burning hot here in AZ I dressed it up a little by pairing it with a skirt, nice sandals, and a chunky necklace. It would look just as cute with jeans and some boots though. I plan on making the peter pan collar version next. I also need to get back on my diet. Losing the baby weight hasn't been that easy this time. I guess that's what happens when you reach your thirty's.
