Honey Orange Sweet Tea

So I have been missing my blog posting lately as I'm sure you noticed. It's been hard adjusting to having a newborn and a toddler who constantly need my attention. It leaves very little time for anything and sadly me time isn't happening anymore. The good news is I tried a bunch of recipes and they were all keepers so I have some fantastic food posts coming.

Honey & Orange Sweet Tea, makes one large pitcher
Recipe Adapted from A Beautiful Mess

64 ounces hot/boiling water (or about 2/3 full in a large pitcher)
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons honey
3 tea bags (I used Red Label tea)
1/2 very ripe navel orange thinly sliced (remove all seeds)

1. Add the water and tea bags to the pitcher and let brew for about 5 minutes ( I sliced my orange while it brewed)
2. Remove the tea bags and add the sugar and honey and stir until dissolved.
3. Add the orange slices and let cool.
4. Place in the refrigerator and wait 12 hours before serving.
