Estate Sale Finds

I got an email this morning from and there just so happened to be an estate sale by my house that had a bunch of sewing stuff. My sister-in-law and I got ready and headed out. I scored some great stuff. Although all the vintage patterns were gone, it was the second day of the sale, I did find lots of good books.

I scored these great vintage 1960's Singer sewing books. My favorites are the Sewing for Girls and Dressmaker Tailoring.

I also scored this great vintage McCall's book on how to face a neckline. All the books are in practically new condition even though they are from the 1960's.

I also found a great introductory book on machine cutwork. I had this great vision to add cutwork to a pencil skirt but I had no idea where to begin but this book has lots of great tutorials for me to start with. It was a great estate sale day!
