The No Sew Way To Fix Holes

I have a couple of pairs of jeans that now have holes due to wear. You know how hard it is to find jeans that fit you well and are comfortable so throwing them out is so hard to do. I came across this cute idea on Pinterest, I will have to add the link in later Pinterest is being a pain, using lace to fix the holes. You know I am a sucker for lace so I decided to give it a try. I didn't have any scrap piece of lace I liked but I did have some cute eyelet cotton so I decided to use that instead.

They came out great, I like them even more now then I did before! I didn't feel like breaking out my sewing machine so I decided to use a NO Sew method.

I bought this Heat n Bond Hem a long time ago and I never used it but it's the perfect thing to use for this project. If you are going to be fixing a heavy material like denim make sure to buy the Super strength.

First I trimmed off all the extra fibers and made sure the hole was nice and "clean".

Then I cut a piece of scrap fabric a little bit larger than my hole. I used 4 small strips of my heat n bond hem and I followed the manufacturers directions for applying it.

That's it! My hole was fixed in 5 minutes and I didn't even need to use my sewing machine. I think I will finally get around to fixing the hem on my pants now.
