Toddler Empire Waist Tank

I went to Joann's last week to get some supplies to make a cushion. My daughter fell in love with this dinosaur print and I bought it for her. At first I wasn't too fond of it, it was expensive and I couldn't use my coupon on it, so I only bought one yard. I wanted to make her a shirt since she has mostly t-shirts and I wanted to jazz up her wardrobe. I went through my mom's pattern stash and I found this cute empire waist tank.

I finished the whole shirt within a couple of hours and I LOVE how it came out. Of course I forgot to write down the pattern number so I will make sure to write it down tomorrow and update the post.

I wish I could have gotten a picture of my daughter wearing the shirt because she looked fabulous. But of course she got kool aid all over it before I could take a picture.

The fit was a little big on her so I layered it with a cute t-shirt. I only used 1/2 a yard so I have enough leftover to make something else.
