Halloween Frames

The only holiday I decorate my house for is Christmas. It's not that I don't like other holidays and I love to decorate but by the time I finally get around to making/buying something the season has passed. This year I decided to get an early start on Halloween and I made these semi scary frames.

I thought it would be fun to add pictures of monsters in the frames instead of people I know. I found these pictures inside my Martha Stewart Living magazine, they are perfect. My daughter hasn't seen them yet so I hope they don't scare her.

You are going to need wood unfinished frames, $1 at Michaels, Halloween craft paper, and mod podge. Trace your frame onto your paper and cut. Position your paper on your frame and crease the center square on your paper. Cut the middle square out.

Put a coat of mod podge on your frame and put your paper on top. Use your fingers to get all of the air bubbles out. Put a coat of mod podge on top of your frame. Let it dry and repeat with another coat. Don't touch the paper until it has dried or parts of it will come off on your finger. I plan to hit up the Dollar Store this weekend for some outdoor decorations. They have a skeleton garland that I really want.
