Korean Roasted Broccoli

Recently my husband took me to a brand new Korean restaurant that opened up by our house. One of their sides was broccoli and I decided to try it. Little did I know that Korean broccoli is delicious! I decided that I would find the recipe as soon as I got home. I did some googling and after a couple of batches I think I perfected my recipe. To save time I bought my broccoli already cut into small florets at Trader Joe's.

2 bunch broccoli or broccoli crowns
4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1. Preheat oven to 425° F.
2. Wash and thoroughly dry broccoli. In a large bowl toss broccoli, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder until the broccoli is evenly coated.
3. On an aluminum foil lined baking sheet spread the broccoli pieces. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, until you start seeing some browning.
4. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
