Last week was my little sister's 13th birthday, she's a teenager now! I had bought her a couple of headbands, she LOVES LOVES headbands, and I couldn't figure out the best way to wrap them. They had feather's so I didn't want to wrap them tightly for fear of ruining them. I decided I would make a drawstring bag to put them in, cute and reusable. I ventured out to Joann's and bought a fabric that I thought she would like. I feel so old now, I really don't know what's cool now a days.
I love how the bag came out and I finished it in an hour. I could have kicked myself for not having taken pictures so I could write a tutorial. I will have to make another one.
This is the card I made her, which I am not to happy with. Next time I will actually plan out what I want the card to look like instead of just randomly adding things that I think look good together. I also think the white card is not a good idea. I will use colored paper next time and just add a piece of white paper inside. I have another birthday coming up in January so I better get started on more bags and cards!
