Joanna's Crock Pot Beef Stew

The weather is finally starting to get cold here, the perfect time to make beef stew! This stew is a huge hit with my husband and my toddler. It's a great way to get them to eat their veggies's!

Ingredients
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground garlic
1 teaspoon dried onion
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup tomato paste
32 oz low sodium chicken broth
1 can black beans unrinsed
1 lb stew meat
Veggies (1 tomato, 2 zucchini, 2 celery stalks, 4 small carrots)

Directions
1. Add the cumin, dried basil, chili powder, ginger, garlic, onion, black pepper, salt, tomato paste, and chicken broth to the crockpot.
2. Mix well

3. Cut the veggies in smaller pieces


4. Add the veggies, black beans, and stew meat to the crock pot
5. Mix well
6. Cook on low for 8 hours.
